Privacy Policy
Effective Date: Nov 5, 2025
Dear Reader,
If you've stumbled upon this page, you are probably looking for my Privacy Policy. Welcome! Usually, my blog posts are filled with my latest deep dives into the vast, beautiful universe, or the fascinating, complex world of Pharmacy. I spend my days looking at the macro—the stars and planets—and the micro—the chemical compounds that heal us. But today, I’m putting down the telescope and the microscope to talk about something equally important: your personal space.
In a digital world that feels like a crowded, noisy galaxy where everyone is trying to track your every move, I want this blog to be a quiet sanctuary. I believe in a strict "No Tracking" vibe. I’m here to share knowledge, spark curiosity, and write my thoughts, not to build a creepy, invasive database of your personal life.
So, grab a cup of coffee, and let’s flip through the pages of how I handle privacy here. I promise to keep the heavy legal jargon as light as stardust, while still making sure all the important rules are followed.
1. The Absolute Rule: What I Do NOT Collect
Let me be incredibly clear right from the start, because this is a core principle of how I operate this blog.
When you visit my little corner of the internet, I, Abhijit, do not personally collect, store, or hoard your digital footprints.
- No IP Addresses: I don't know where you live or what internet provider you use.
- No Browser History: What you do before or after visiting my blog is your own business.
- No Sneaky Cookies: I don't personally program or inject tracking cookies into your device to follow you around the web.
- No Location Tracking: Whether you are reading this from Patna, Paris, or Pluto, your physical location remains a mystery to me.
I only accept and know user information when you willingly and explicitly hand it to me—like writing your name and email address in a message. That is my promise to you.
2. The Information You Choose to Share
Sometimes, the universe brings us together and you might feel compelled to reach out. Perhaps you want to debate a recent space mission, ask a pharmacy-related question, or just say hello.
If you use my Contact Me page to shoot me an email, I will obviously see the information you provide. This usually includes:
- Your name (or whatever cool nickname you choose to use).
- Your email address.
- The contents of your message.
How I treat this information: Think of it like a letter kept in a locked drawer of my desk. I use this information for one purpose and one purpose only: to reply back to you. I will never sell your email address to marketers. I will never add you to a newsletter list without your explicit permission. Our conversation stays between us, just like a secret kept in a diary.
3. The Reality of the Web: Third-Party Tools and AdSense
Now, here is where I have to put on my legal hat and explain the mechanics of how the internet works. While I am extremely hands-off with your data, my blog does not float in an empty vacuum. It is hosted on Blogger (a Google platform), and to help keep the lights on and support my writing, I use Google AdSense.
Because of this, third-party vendors are involved, and they have their own rules.
Google AdSense and Cookies:
To make the ads you see somewhat relevant to your interests, Google AdSense uses cookies. As a publisher using their service, I am legally required to let you know the following details clearly:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to my site and/or other sites across the internet. This is sometimes called a DART cookie.
- I don't control these cookies, but you have ultimate control over them. You can easily opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
Google Analytics and Server Logs:
Blogger’s servers, by their very nature, automatically log technical data to keep the website secure from hackers and crashes. This means Google's servers temporarily see your IP address and browser type to load the page correctly. Furthermore, I use basic Analytics to see anonymous trends—like knowing that "50 people read my pharmacy post today"—so I know what topics you all enjoy. But remember, this data is aggregated. It never tells me that you, specifically, read the post.
4. Navigating the Cookie Jar
What exactly is a cookie? In the real world, it’s a delicious baked good. In the digital world, it’s a tiny text file dropped into your browser's memory.
Since I use platforms like Blogger and AdSense, my site utilizes them. Here is the breakdown:
- Essential Cookies: These are the structural beams of the website. They are necessary for Blogger to function so you can actually read my diary entries.
- Advertising Cookies: As mentioned above, these help Google figure out what ads to show you.
Your Cosmic Power: You are the master of your own browser. You can go into your browser settings right now (whether you use Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) and clear your cache, delete all cookies, or set your browser to reject them entirely. My blog will still be here for you to read, though some third-party elements might look a little different.
5. Your Global and Regional Rights
It doesn't matter where you are reading from; I respect your digital rights. Different parts of the world have different names for these rights, but the spirit is the same.
For my European Friends (GDPR):
If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data. Because the only data I hold is our email exchanges, if you want me to delete our conversation history, just ask. I will scrub it from my inbox faster than a meteor burning up in the atmosphere.
For my American Friends (CCPA, CPRA, VCDPA):
If you live in California, Virginia, or other states with specific privacy laws, you have the "Right to Know" and the "Right to Say No." Let me say it loudly: I do not sell your personal information. I never have, and I never will. However, because privacy laws are drafted broadly, the way Google AdSense uses cookies to show you ads might be legally defined as "sharing" data.
For the Younger Explorers (COPPA):
This blog is written for a general audience. Whether I'm talking about chemical bonds or planetary orbits, my content is safe, but it is not specifically targeted at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect any information from children. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has emailed me their details, please reach out. I will delete that email immediately, no questions asked.
6. Security: Keeping the Vault Locked
Even though I only hold onto the emails you send me, I take the security of that information seriously. I use secure, password-protected, and two-factor authenticated devices to access my email and blog. While no system in the universe is 100% impenetrable, I do everything in my power to ensure your words remain safe with me. If a data breach were ever to occur on my end, I would notify you immediately, as honesty is the best policy.
7. Changes to This Diary Entry
The universe is constantly expanding and changing, and the laws governing the internet change too. I might need to update this privacy policy from time to time to stay compliant with new regulations or AdSense rules. When I do, I will change the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Think of it as adding a post-script (P.S.) to a letter. I encourage you to check back here occasionally, though the core philosophy—that I don't track your personal life—will never change.
8. Let's Keep the Conversation Going
Navigating privacy laws can sometimes feel like trying to read a textbook in a language you don't speak. I’ve tried to make it as transparent and casual as possible. If you want to know more about the person behind these policies, you can always visit my About Me page.
If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to request that I delete an old email thread we had, my inbox is always open to you.For Mail Id Visit My Contact Me Page.
